Roulette Guide

How to Play Roulette

Roulette is a popular and classic casino game that is easy to play and has an enthusiastic following in online gaming. Players bet on numbers, spreads of number combinations and colors, generated by the fall of a small ivory ball onto a spinning wheel which is divided into 37 or 38 numbered slots, depending on the version being played. Very little strategy is required as the game is completely random and based entirely on luck. A clever player is one who understands the betting possibilities. By the skillful placing of bets on the table, a player can vary the amount of risk he is taking.

Roulette Variations

American roulette wheels usually have both the “0” and “00” on the wheel. Some European casinos have only a “0”. This gives the players slightly better odds.
